Art has been a significant influence on mankind since time began. It has illustrated the stories of cultures over the centuries. Art can arouse delight, provoke curiosity, and elevate the soul. It has intrigued me for most of my life. Inspired by the impressionists and expressionists of the 20th century, I began developing my skill as an artist. Over the past eight years, I have attended oil painting and life drawing classes taught by master-level instructors. I am fascinated with exploring new methods and techniques that will further enrich my body of work.
Being “Out of the Ordinary” is my artistic intent. Image size, location of objects on the canvas, as well as the infusion of thick bold colors are the critical elements in my work.
A curious and eclectic life-style combined with a love of art is the foundation for my work. Painting has enriched my life and I would feel blessed if one of my paintings helped enrich yours!
