Pat is a native Arizonan who loves the colors of the purple
mountains, rich sunsets, and living deserts. It is color that begs
her to paint as well as the desire to share her inner world through
the color and texture that she loves. Pat paints every day, getting
lost for hours in the creation of her work. Painting has become her
passion, a gift of the great Creator that brings her much joy.
Pat graduated from Arizona State University, and is a Licensed
Professional Counselor. She spent many years in the Arizona schools
and then as a Red Cross volunteer doing Disaster Mental Health work
as a DMH Manager across the nation. When her health changed, she
began to paint, and discovered her passion. She has studied with
master artists to open new vistas of creativity and better share her
expression of self with you. She is a juried artist with the Arizona
Art Alliance and has won ribbons in juried shows. Her work is
representational and abstract, very colorful, and it often evokes
emotion in those who see it. Because she is sharing her deepest self
with you, she is delighted when you feel or see something meaningful
in her art. Abstract and representational contemporary art is meant
for you to read into and see whatever you wish. It is your dance
with the art, your pathos, your crescendo, your passion, your love--
what ever you see and feel in the color and rhythm of your moment.
