Mike Buchheit - Landscape Photography

Mike Buchheit is a Phoenix-based, landscape and wildlife photographer with a worldwide following. Prior to relocating to the Valley of the Sun, Mike was a twenty-seven year resident of Grand Canyon National Park, where he served as Director of the Grand Canyon Conservancy Field Institute. His frequent and far flung adventures in the park, and surrounding public and tribal lands, are evident in a portfolio of thousands of unique images.
Mike’s illuminating work has appeared everywhere from fine art galleries throughout Arizona to collectible books such as Lasting Light: 125 Years of Grand Canyon Photography Lasting Light: 125 Years of Grand Canyon Photography (and its companion exhibit). Through in-person photo workshops, published writing, social media posts, public presentation, and online instruction, Mike continues to share his passion for the art of photography, and the expanding array of natural places that he turns to for inspiration and renewal.
