Bruce Boyce - Digital Photography of the Southwest
Through An Open Window
Bruce has a degree in Physics and spent 49 years working in the aerospace industry developing and analyzing a wide range of high performance optical sensors, telescopes and cameras for deployment on government satellites.
Bruce’s fine art prints are the beneficiaries of his physics and government systems heritage, and exhibit maximum sharpness and clarity. That, combined with his innate ability to spot and utilize unique compositions that are distinct from more conventional landscape approaches, results in remarkable technically superb images. The result of all this is that viewing Bruce’s large format metal prints is like viewing the original scenes Through An Open Window.
Bruce and his wife currently live in Fountain Hills, Arizona, where they can now capture the daily rhythm of the moods of the 4 Peaks, sunrises, sunsets and passing monsoon storms from their covered back patio. As a result, his wife has been relieved of the fear that Bruce will get fried by a passing storm while parked in the desert photographing lightning, as he used to do before they discovered the beauty of Fountain Hills.

This website page is designed to allow you to browse through all 30 images, each of which can be purchased in a variety of sizes (for a total of 100 choices). Simply tell the artist on duty what the full inventory number is of the piece you would like to order – the full inventory number is my 3 digit artist number (180) concatenated with a hyphen and the specific 1 or 2 digit number you see when you click on a thumbnail to see a larger version of the selected thumbnail image.
In the text displayed under the big image, the 1 or 2 digit number is followed by the size of that particular selection (in parentheses) of the picture. So if you wanted to buy a 30x45 inch of the Bryce 1 picture, the full inventory number is 180-5. Similarly, if you wanted a 12x18 picture of the Canyon de Chelly image, the full inventory number is 180-56. To make a purchase over the phone, please call the gallery front desk (480-836-9919), give them the Inventory Number (180-nn), pay by credit card, and provide a shipping address if shipping is desired.
