I have always enjoyed making things with my hands—whether it was macramé, furniture, cross-stitch, beading, woodworking, or even tying flies. Creating has always felt natural to me. My journey into jewelry began when a friend introduced me to a local class where I learned the basics of metalwork and eventually discovered the art of fusing glass. That experience opened a whole new world for me. I’m now a jewelry artist specializing in silver and fused dichroic glass, and I continue to learn through hands-on practice, collaboration with other artists, and a lot of joyful trial and error.

My jewelry is influenced by nature, the Southwest, and Native American art and themes. I work primarily with sterling silver and fused dichroic glass, combining color and metal in ways that feel both organic and luminous. Incorporating fused glass into my work has allowed me to create a style that feels uniquely my own. My logo, “Healing Hands,” honors both my profession as a pediatric nurse practitioner and my love of creating jewelry by hand. Each piece I design is made with care and intention, celebrating both craftsmanship and connection.

I am inspired by the natural beauty and artistic traditions of the Southwest, as well as by the creativity of other artists. The process of designing jewelry—of shaping, fusing, and refining—feels healing to me, a continuation of the care and compassion I’ve always brought to my nursing work. My art is about balance: between light and texture, glass and metal, artistry and purpose. Every piece I make is a reflection of the beauty I see in both nature and human connection.
