My drawings capture what I call the “Faces of the Southwest—Legends Captured in Drawings.” I am particularly drawn to depicting Southwestern Indians, especially the Tarahumara people of Chihuahua, Mexico. My portraits are known for their sympathetic detail, bringing forward both the strength and the humanity of my subjects. Over the years, my artwork has been exhibited throughout the Southwest and placed in businesses, hospitals, offices, and private collections.

I am inspired by the character and stories written on the faces of Southwestern people, especially Native peoples whose culture and heritage run deep in this region. Each face tells a legend, and I strive to preserve and share that story through my art. Ultimately, my inspiration lies in capturing the humanity and resilience of the Southwest through faces that speak across generations.
