VICKI O'CONNOR

My name is Victoria Joy O’Connor (aka vickiO), and I live in Fountain Hills, Arizona with my loving, funny, and supportive husband, John. I am an artist, author, Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, and a believer in all things fun, beautiful, heartfelt, and inspiring. Minnesota born and raised, I have happily transplanted into the Southwest desert. In 2012, I was diagnosed with Valley Fever, and as part of my healing journey, I began painting in 2013. The process not only aided my recovery but also opened up a lifelong dream, inspiring me and helping me grow in ways I never imagined.

Painting is both a passion and a healing practice for me. My work is infused with vibrant colors, heartfelt energy, and a sense of joy. I draw inspiration from the places I love—whether the Sonoran Desert, the red rocks of Sedona, the woods of northern Minnesota, or the beauty of the moon and the Fountain Hills fountain. Each painting is a reflection of gratitude and growth, meant to bring light, healing, and inspiration to others.

Nature is my constant muse. The beauty of the desert, the woods, the skies, and the changing landscapes all light me up with creative possibility. I am also inspired by the practices that keep me centered—playing the Native American flute, living in sobriety, and spending time with my girlfriends who keep me honest and grounded. My hope is that my art touches hearts, brings smiles, and inspires others to follow their own dreams. Life is far too short not to.
