April Bower HS 1.JPG

April Bower has always been fascinated by the many varied processes involved in metalworking. While earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree her jewelry work was experimental and creative using silver. After teaching metalsmithing and then apprenticing in fine jewelry, she began working exclusively in gold, diamonds and faceted stones for 18 years. She
now has come full circle, back to what she loves; teaching and creating the fun, creative, metal work.

This work, executed in Argentium, sterling silver, copper, gold, steel, bi-metals and Mokume’ Gane, features primarily metal with textures, sparingly accented with gem stones; diamonds & semi precious stones.

Specializing in earrings, cuff bracelets, pendants, she creates extremely wearable jewelry, with contemporary styling.

Member of Society of North American Goldsmiths, American Crafts Council, Arizona Designer Craft Art.

Bower teaches online workshops in Metalsmithing and live workshops at
Art Retreat in the Desert, Art Unraveled and private studios.
