Every one of Janine’s pieces is intended to be unlike any other, all bearing the well-worked marks of its creation and many with textured surfaces adorned with found objects discarded by the world only to find themselves in the hand of the potter to be imprinted in the clay. Beauty rediscovered from obscurity. Mistakes made her better, determination made her persevere. But caring made her art. Ceramics are, after all, the product of a caring potter’s hand. Just as life is the product of the loving work of The Master Potter. Beautiful is the world, even in its imperfections.

When not creating, Janine enjoys the blessings of her life, time with The Almighty, hiking, golf, yoga, working out and walks amongst nature
