Lore Vanderboegh - Watercolor

I like the use of watercolors because of the way that it creates a luminous effect.
I begin with a very detailed and specific photograph that portrays the intended feeling of what I want to bring to the viewer. From this, I then carefully study every aspect of the photo before selecting and cropping an area that contains every detail of my vision.
I like to work with botanicals as my inspiration for these watercolors came from photographs taken at the “Keukenhof Gardens” in Holland. The use of vibrant colors is something that I will always incorporate into my paintings. I find that it makes my paintings more visually and emotionally stimulating.
My desire is to share the beauty of what it brings into your life!
